These parabolic mirrors, with acute angles and protected silver coating, are designed to collimate divergent sources or focus collimated beams, free from spherical or chromatic aberrations. They offer >97% average reflectance from 450 nm to 2 m, and >95% from 2 m to 20 m. The 'off-axis angle' () is the angle between the focused and collimated beams. Crafted from aluminum substrates, they feature a diamond-turned parabolic surface with a protected silver coating for optimal performance.
