This Custom Dynamics baseplate is designed to be compatible with early model Harley-Davidson models, and replaces the factory taillight baseplate to allow for secure mounting of Custom Dynamics LED Taillight (sold separately). Included wire harness connects to factory taillight wiring to allow for plug and play installation of run & brake taillight with 4 position connector. Mounting hardware and gaskets included. Available in Chrome or Gloss Black. Replaces baseplate part from OEM 68048-93B or 68008-73B on 1973-1999 Harley-Davidson models. Not compatible on models with inverted mount taillight. Included wiring adapter allows to plug and play installation of any Custom Dynamics LED Run/Brake Taillight assembly including the ProBEAM Squareback LED Motorcycle Taillight or ProBEAM Low Profile LED Motorcycle Taillight. Additional Integrated Taillight Wire Harness (sold separately) required when installing any Custom Dynamics Integrated LED Taillight with Auxiliary Turn Signals (sold separately).
